What can I do,purchase or change to speed up my computer? I recently switched to Insight Broad Band?
20 meg and I feel like my computer could need a little boost to speed up as well. It is a Compaq 3300+AMD Athlon 64 processor with 512 MB PC3200 DOR SDRram memory, 250 gb/7200 rpm. I have done defrag, utilities cleaners,start-up cleaning.
How Can I Speed Up My Computer? The One Product You Need to Achieve This Goal
Jeff Farley asked:
If your computer is running very slow and not like it used to, you are probably asking the question, “how can I speed up my computer?” The number one way to get a slow, sluggish computer back to its original speed is to use a registry repair program.
Why do you need to use a registry repair program? And what is the registry? The registry is the database that stores a large number of files and keys that your computer must have in order to operate. The registry keeps getting bigger and bigger as time goes by, especially as you use your computer more and more. Eventually, the registry is going to get too big and bloated, and that is when you will start seeing problems happen. You will see things like system crashes and freezes, web pages that take a long time to load, that little white box in the top left hand corner shows up and your computer does nothing, and system start ups and shut downs take forever. The first time this happened to me, my PC really couldn’t do much of anything, and I desperately needed to know, “how can I speed up my computer?”
As I mentioned earlier, the best way to speed up a slow computer is to use a registry cleaner. It will perform a scan to find any damaged registry files, and it will let you delete them. The registry repair program will also shut off programs that just waste space and slow down the computer, and you can schedule future system scans automatically.
